Kelly Osbourne Madonna's new Material Girl

Madonna has traded in Taylor Momsen for a new model to front her Material Girl clothing line, Kelly Osbourne!

Ms O has signed up to front the superstar singer's collection, which she designs alongside 14-year-old daughter Lourdes. It is expected that Kelly will star in ads for the brand and take part in promotional events.

A statement confirmed the news this week: 'Material Girl is thrilled to confirm that Kelly Osbourne is the new face for 2011! We will be sharing all the details on this exciting new campaign in the upcoming weeks.'
Momsen was the label's first spokesperson, launching the collection alongside the mother-daughter design pair at Macy's last year.

The move is another blow for the 17-year-old Gossip Girl, who was reportedly suspended from the hit show due to a run of bad behaviour. Her character, Jenny Humphrey, has been relegated from a series regular, appearing only occasionally during the current run.

Madonna Raising Malawi Charity

Madonna Raising Malawi Charity

Madonna through Raising Malawi charity has helped over a million children orphaned from the AIDS epidemic in that African nation plans to construct the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls.

"I remain deeply committed and am more passionate than ever about helping the children of Malawi - especially the girls. In a country where only 33% of Malawian girls attend secondary school, I realize that the plans we had in place for the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls simply would not serve enough children.
My original vision is now on a much bigger scale. I want to reach thousands not hundreds of girls. I want to do more and I want to do it better. While I am grateful to all the people who have given me guidance and support up until now, we are in the process of implementing several changes and additions to the management of Raising Malawi in both the US and Malawi.

I am also working with Trevor Neilson and his team at Global Philanthropy Group to shift the strategies that we had in place so that we can accomplish our goals with more efficiency as we continue to consult with our government partners in Malawi. This is a larger challenge than I thought, but I welcome it. We are focused on an approach, which builds schools within communities across the country.

We are currently determining the size, location, staffing and curriculum of the schools. I will continue to monitor the process of reaching these goals here and through my ongoing visits to Malawi."

Madonna search for a new Material Girl

Madonna is searching for a new model for her clothing line. The 52-year-old singer launched her Material Girl collection - which is aimed at teenage girls - last year with 'Gossip Girl' star Taylor Momsen promoting the brand but, according to a posting on the company's official website, Madonna is looking for a new ambassador.
Next to a picture of 17-year-old Taylor an advert proclaims. 'Desperately seeking Material Girl'.

It goes on to add, 'Living in a material world and we need material girls. Looking for the hottest girl on the scene, she is never afraid'.

The posting encourages visitors to the site to vote for who they think should become the next face of the collection.

Madonna worked on the Material Girl line with her 14-year-old daughter Lourdes and admitted the youngster brought much of her own personal style to the collection.

She revealed: 'I think this line is absolutely an extension of her taste. We like to combine a plaid or a flannel with a lace or leather with lace or rhinestones. So we mix and match textures and fabrics and elements that are both masculine and feminine.'

Vanilla Ice revealed that he dated Madonna when he was 24-years-old and Madonna was 33. Robert Matthew Van Winkle known professionally as Vanilla Ice admitted that it was exciting to have a relationship with an older woman but said he ended it when Madonna published her 1992 coffee-table book Sex, which featured intimate photographs of the pair and images of her with other men.

"Going out with Madonna was exciting," he told the News of the World. "She was older than me and a great lover. She's still the oldest person I've ever been with, so it was an experience."

"But I broke up with her after she printed that book because I was hurt to be an unwitting part of this slutty package. It was disgusting and cheap. We were in a relationship yet it looked like she was screwing all these other people."

"I thought she was taking pictures and running round naked because she was like that. Then when the book came out I was so embarrassed and ashamed. It was a porno. She threw me in like I was a product off a shelf and I didn't appreciate it. That was it and I ended it. She said she didn't have sex with these men but it looked like she was."

Vanilla Ice stars in the new series of Dancing On Ice, which starts tonight at 6.30pm on ITV1.
