Religious Leaders in the Philippines urges Madonna concert boycott

Madonna Hospicio de San Jose in Manila, Manila Madonna concert, Rebel Heart world tour

Madonna made a surprise visit at Catholic orphanages in Manila and posted pictures of her and orphans on Instagram and Twitter. It shows her carrying orphan babies and surrounder by orphan children. Unfortunately, a local Catholic leader Archbishop Ramon Arguelles of Lipa City south of the capital criticize her for her music and outfits for being vulgar and suggestive.

The archbishop warned Filipinos to boycott Madonna's first-ever concerts in Manila scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. Philippines is included in her Rebel Heart world tour.

"Why is the Catholic Philippines the favorite venue for blasphemy against God and the Holy Mother?" Arguelles said, referring to the estimate that up to 80% of Filipinos are Catholic.

Madonna just ignored the noise and had a great day spending time with children and catholic nuns in Manila shelters for street kids.

"Hats off to the Bahay Tulyan Foundation in Manilla for taking so many kids off the street and providing food and shelter! #rebelheartour," she posted on her Instagram account.
